coping with worry during a test
If you know beforehand that you are already going to have certain negative thoughts during your test, write them down in advance. In the section "coping with worry" you can read what else you can do (I want to continue coping with worry now; you can return to this point later if you want to).
If you are hindered by these thoughts during the test, you can give yourself "internal" instructions. A certain level of control is possible, but never to the full 100%. Do not even try. In doing so, you will impose an 'impossible assignment' on yourself, that is bound to fail. Approach the troublesome thoughts in a friendly but insistent manner.
