A strategic approach to test-taking |
---|
Test-taking is a high-level activity. It is, as it were, like a long tiring intellectual walk. Take a timely break.
Bring sweets, food, and drink with you. During a test you may find yourself stuck. You can't do it, you don't know the answer, you can't concentrate, etc. Take a break, go to the toilet, eat or drink something (so bring it with you!). If necessary, return to the orientation stage giving yourself time to come up with ideas. You can be more critical and select what is useful at a later stage. |
