Do I know enough to pass the test?
Test anxiety is not an isolated phenomenon during a test. In test taking there are 3 phases and test anxiety can interfere in all 3 phases.
  1. ; input of information
  2. processing and remembering of information
  3. reproduction of this knowledge during a test
Test anxious students prepare themselves often badly for tests: postponing the preparation, no critical testing of the knowledge and regularly check of progress, no exercise of the reproduction, lack of strategic studying, etc.
Test anxious students are often more 'person oriented' (focus on internal worry) then 'task oriented' (focus on preparation for the test).
